Expedia Group Kushirikiana Na Tanzania Kutangaza Utalii

 The world's largest online tourism business, Expedia Group, has promised to cooperate with the Government of Tanzania through the Tourism Board (TTB), to promote and bring more tourists to Tanzania.


 The statement also supports the efforts of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon.  Dr.  Samia Solutions Hassan to promote Tanzania internationally, was released yesterday May 8, 2023, by the company's Senior Director of International Marketing, Mr.  Andrew Van Der Feltz, when he met and held talks at their headquarters in Seattle with the Tanzanian delegation led by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr.  Hassan Abbasi.


 Expedia is a company that uses modern technologies to advertise and serve more than 400 million people per month in the world and if it uses the integration of more than 200 websites and works with airlines and other partners more than 509, ranking second in the world and sometimes number one  The United States is trusted by tourists in the travel and tourism industry.


 Earlier, the Tanzanian delegation also had the opportunity to greet the President of Expedia Group who deals with International Business, Mrs.  Ariane Gorin, who explained the message that Tanzania where she got to visit in 2016 Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crete is a country with unique attractions and she hopes to visit it again.


 On his part Dr.  Abbasi who was accompanied by the Chief Executive of TTB, Damasi Mfugale, assured the Expedia executives that Tanzania has now decided to come up with a new perspective in promoting tourism.


 "We believe that your expertise and experience in marketing and online tourism business will help complement the efforts of our President of Tanzania, Dr.  Samia Suluhu Hassan who has made great efforts through the film "Tanzania;  "The Royal Tour" to put Tanzania in a wider picture internationally in tourism and investment," said Dr.  Abbasi.
